In the context of the recent electoral surge and spectacular growth of left and progressive political forces in the US (Bernie, DSA, WFP, among others), how does Municipalism as a political framework of practices resonate with the current growth of left and progressive organizations? What role can it play in municipal politics vis a vis national politics? How do left and progressive organizations understand the municipal level in terms of their own growth and strategy?
